SDK 2011-2012 Season Fees

  • $275

Parent Volunteer Commitment

  • Parents are required to collect the entrance fees at the door for 1-2 home games (1 hour commitment each time).  You will collect fees for the game just prior to your child's game.  Please note that SDK families do not pay entrance fees for home games.

Practices and Schedules

  • Expect 1–2 practices per week.

  • Expect 25-30 regular season games between the months of Dec-Feb.

  • Expect 1 tournament over Thanksgiving, Christmas, or President's Day and 1 end of year league tournament.

  • If your son is playing both SDK and CYO, IT IS THE PARENT'S RESPONSIBILITY TO CROSS CHECK SCHEDULES FOR CONFLICTS AND INFORM THE COACH OF ANY CONFLICTS IN THE BEGINNING OF THE SEASON. SDK makes every effort to avoid CYO conflicts.

  • SDK supports the CYO program and recognizes that CYO games take precedence over SDK games.

  • OUR SCHEDULES MAY CHANGE THROUGHOUT THE SEASON - PLEASE BE FLEXIBLE.

    Playing Time

  • SDK is a select basketball program and playing time is based on the coach's discretion.  Please contact your respective coach for playing time details.

    Conflict Resolution

  • If you have any comments or concerns about the program during the season, please address them with the coach first. If unresolved, please then contact the SDK Board President.

  • If you are uncomfortable addressing the coach first, please go directly to the SDK Board President.

    Player Development

  • SDK Clinics and Open Gyms will be offered throughout the year.

  • Your child will receive a player evaluation twice per season.

    Uniforms

  • Uniforms (game jerseys, game shorts and practice jersey) are to be turned in at the end of the season. Parents will be responsible for missing or damaged uniforms. The boys keep their shooting shirts and SDK bags. Shooting shirts are issued for a 2-year period and are expected to be maintained in nice game condition for that time period. If a shooting shirt is lost or damaged prior to that 2-year period, parents are expected to purchase a new shooting shirt.
