South Dayton Knights rosters

PARENTS: Please read-

 

Thank you for allowing you son to tryout for the South Dayton Knights Basketball Club. We had a great group of talented boys tryout this year. Our team of evaluators worked hard reviewing a record number of players over the two

nights.  It would be great if we had spots for all the boys who came to tryouts, but we don't. This is the most difficult week of our season.  We know it's not easy on families either but we need to keep all this in perspective.  This is grade school basketball and should not affect your son's future, on or off the court.

 

Because the development of your child and his game varies year to year, we ask that if your child did not make a team, please have him work hard on his game and bring him back to tryouts next season.   Team rosters change every year, in every grade, and in each division.   In Dayton we are fortunate there are several options to play basketball.  In addition to your CYO team, the Kettering Rec. Center offers programs which can help your child improve.

 

Congratulations to the boys and their families who are on our 2008-2009 D-1 and D-2 teams.  Our coaching staff is looking forward to helping your son develop his skills this year.
